Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene or related field of study.
  • Demonstrated strength with analytical/problem solving, interpersonal, team building, oral and written communication, and organizational skills.
  • Working knowledge of Industrial Ergonomics.
  • Strong computer skills in a Windows platform, with strong knowledge of Excel.
  • Minimum five years’ experience successfully leading Health and Safety programs, preferably in an Injection Molding and Painting facility.
  • Positive and powerful leadership orientation.
  • Ability to perform work while standing, walking, or sitting for extended amounts of time.
  • Ability to walk up and down stairs frequently.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds on a frequent basis and up to 40 pounds on an occasional basis.
  • Ability to work near alcohols, solvent, paints, or plastic sanding dust.
  • Ability to work below the knees and above the shoulders.
  • Good vision at a close distance and the ability to distinguish color is required with or without the use of corrective lenses.
  • Ability to hear alarms with or without the use of hearing aids.
