About The Position

Support and strengthen health and safety across our Canadian programs by acting as the primary safety liaison between corporate safety, operations, and subcontracted partners. This 12‑month, mostly remote role focuses on evaluating safety responsibilities, especially where subcontractors and trade work are involved, and ensuring programs are compliant with provincial and federal OHS requirements. Reporting to the Director, Safety & Fleet, you’ll take a hands‑on, program‑by‑program approach, starting with programs in Ontario and British Columbia to assess exposure, clarify responsibilities, and design practical, compliant safety plans that teams actually use. This role requires strong judgment, influence, and comfort working independently across multiple stakeholders. Occasional travel (approximately 3–4 trips per year) is expected.

  • Strong working knowledge of provincial OHS legislation, particularly Ontario and British Columbia.
  • Experience navigating contractor and subcontractor safety responsibilities and regulatory grey areas.
