About The Position

This position is responsible for the coordination and management of health programs, with a primary focus on database management for athletes, volunteers, and clinical directors. The role involves significant administrative support, data entry, and communication with participants and families. The coordinator will also assist with event-related tasks and reporting.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/College Coursework
  • 3+ years office experience
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Good customer service skills
  • Extensive computer experience; word processing and database input and maintenance, excel experience required
  • Must have speed and accuracy for database management (test required)
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure
  • Provide administrative support to the department if needed.
  • Must have Florida driver’s license and insurance
  • Must pass SOFL background check
  • Regular Attendance required

Responsibilities

  • Database management of all Healthy Athletes forms for athletes, volunteers and Clinical Directors
  • Scan and file forms
  • Enter Healthy Athlete screening forms into GMS and SOI system
  • Update Athlete information when receiving new contact information, including consent forms
  • Send referral letters to families for follow up care and re-route those returned
  • Keep accurate referrals and HAS files online
  • Conduct follow-up phone calls to those health participants who have an urgent need for follow up
  • Create labels for screening events
  • Run appropriate reports for grants for data
  • Provide administrative support on as needed basis
  • Assist with the State HA events as assigned if hours allow
  • Other Duties as assigned
