What you will be doing: Under the direction of the Health Program Manager 4, in this position you will be responsible for all quality assurance-related activities within the Division of Senior and Disabilities Services. Responsibilities include oversight of Division performance measures, monitoring of complaint and quality-of-care investigations, mortality review, and continuous quality improvement activities for programs. Additionally, you will also be responsible for oversight of the fair hearing process, Electronic Visit Verification, and all service authorizations. Frequent Travel within and outside the State of Alaska will be required to conduct provider visits, as well as attend necessary meetings and conferences.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in biological, health or behavioral science; health practice; education; public, healthcare, or business administration; or a closely related field; AND/OR Progressively responsible professional supervisory or lead level experience performing health program planning, development, coordination, evaluation, or implementation; providing technical health care assistance and consultation; conducting health care utilization or quality assurance examinations; and/or delivering health care service.
• Requires frequent travel in-state and occasional travel out of state with trips up to a weeklong duration.
• A valid and current Alaskan Driver's License is required at the time of appointment.
