The Department of Psychiatry at the University of Wisconsin, School of Medicine and Public Health is seeking a Health Professions Education Coordinator to join our team of education administrative professionals. This position will coordinate the medical student clinical education and training within the Department of Psychiatry. This position also directly supports the Inpatient Psychiatry faculty responsible for coordinating schedules and general administrative support. The Health Professions Education Coordinator must utilize fundamental knowledge of the accreditation program requirements and other regulatory agencies requirements to manage workflow components of the administrative and professional responsibilities for the program’s learners while serving as the primary liaison between program and course directors, learners, clinical teaching faculty, institutional offices, and affiliated teaching sites concerning program matters. While the primary location for this position is University Hospital (600 Highland Ave, Madison, WI), there may be days where this role works from our main administrative office area at WisPIC (6001 Research Park Blvd, Madison, WI). This position may require some work to be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location. Some work may be performed remotely, at an offsite, non-campus work location.
