Health&PE Training Specialist
About The Position
QuaverEd is a rapidly growing, innovative education technology company founded in 2009. Our mission is enriching the lives of children by helping educators to engage students in general music, social and emotional learning, as well as health and physical education. We are headquartered in historic Music Row in Nashville, Tennessee. The Health PE Training Specialist plays a key role in supporting educators in the effective use of QuaverHealth PE resources. This individual will serve as a content expert, trainer, and advocate for QuaverEd, helping teachers and schools integrate QuaverHealth PE’s digital curriculum into their education programs. The ideal candidate is an experienced Health/Physical Education educator with a passion for professional development, curriculum implementation, and technology in the classroom.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience teaching in a K-8 setting
- Bachelor’s Degree in Health, Physical Education, or a related field preferred
- Additional Certifications or National Affiliations preferred
- Training and/or instructional coaching experience preferred
- Experience with online curricula and curriculum development, use of QuaveHealth PE preferred
- Excellent communications and relationship skills
- All employees must live within commuting distance of Music Row in Nashville.
- We are currently requiring all team members to work at minimum 3 days a week in the office on the QuaverEd campus and allowing 2 days remote.
Responsibilities
- Report to the Manager of Training
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of QuaverHealth PE curriculum
- Lead virtual and in-person training/sales sessions for teachers on QuaverHealth PE resources
- Travel to school sites to coach and train teachers and other education stakeholders in understanding and using the QuaverHealth PE resources
- Host virtual events for QuaverHealth PE users and prospective customers
- Attend national conferences to represent QuaverEd in booths and lead conference sessions
- Other duties as assigned
