About The Position
Daemen University is seeking Health Models to serve as standardized patients in the department's GYN and GU physical diagnosis labs. These labs allow students to fulfill course learning objectives through examinations performed by individual students in small group settings under the direct supervision of a faculty member. Requirements
- Female Health Model: Must be willing to have an external genital exam performed.
- Female Health Model: Must be willing to have an internal speculum exam performed.
- Female Health Model: Must be willing to have a bimanual exam performed.
- Female Health Model: Must be willing to have a breast exam performed.
- Male Health Model: Must be willing to have a testicular exam performed.
- Male Health Model: Must be willing to have a penile exam performed.
- Male Health Model: Must be willing to have a digital rectal exam/prostate exam performed.
- Male Health Model: Must be willing to have an inguinal hernia exam performed.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a standardized patient for GYN and GU physical diagnosis labs.
