About The Position

Develop and deliver instructional lectures for health courses up to 10 hours/week. Organize and teach all levels of health classes. Use appropriate teaching methods to facilitate student learning. Teach day, evening, and/or weekend teaching assignments, which may include distance learning (interactive television, online) and accelerated courses. Assess Student Learning Outcomes every semester. Participate in department, division, and college-wide initiatives and committees if desired.

Requirements

• Master’s in health science, health education, biology, nursing, physical education, kinesiology, exercise science, dietetics, nutrition or public health OR A bachelor’s degree in any of the above AND a Master’s in any biological science OR The equivalent
• The Office of Human Resources does not determine equivalency. Applicants who do not meet the minimum qualifications listed above and wish to be considered under the equivalency process must submit a completed Equivalency Application.
