About The Position
The Health Information Department's Health Information Technician II (HIT II) is responsible for performing specialized health information activities related to the organization, maintenance, privacy, and use of the electronic and paper patient health records. Positions at this level have high customer service, strong analytic, problem solving skills and are able to interpret and explain CSMC policy and external requirements related to chart documentation, privacy and release of information.

Responsibilities
- Analyzing and preparing the H&P deficiency report for transcription teams.
- Receiving requests to research, add providers and update or add SER provider demographic information for multiple systems.
- Resolving Provide identifiers and duplicate provider identification numbers.
