The Health Information Manager will lead day-to-day HIM operations across multiple locations: overseeing legal medical records, record completion, release of information, documentation compliance, medical record integrity, workflow optimization, and regulatory compliance. This individual will also manage a large HIM team, drive process improvement initiatives, partner with IT on EHR optimization, and serve as the primary HIM liaison across the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Health Information or related field
• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience as a Supervisor, Manager, or Director
• Acute care hospital experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of: HIM operations
• HIPAA, CMS, Joint Commission, and regulatory compliance
• Release of Information (ROI) and legal medical records
• Documentation compliance
• EHR implementation/optimization
• Medical record integrity
• Budgeting, staffing, productivity, and operational management
• General knowledge of coding

• An experienced HIM leader with a strong operational background who has successfully managed large teams, improved HIM workflows, partnered with IT on EHR initiatives, and ensured regulatory compliance while driving departmental performance.
