The position handles requests and inquiries for patient health information received via various channels, distributes mail, and assists with the maintenance of a deficiency list. Additionally, the role involves complying with and submitting birth registrations, scanning and indexing documents, and adhering to all required safety training programs and hospital exposure control plans. The HIM Secretary must demonstrate respect for all individuals and promote effective working relationships within the department and the organization.
