Requirements
- Two (2) years experience as a Health Information Management Practitioner
- Health Information Management diploma (HIM)
- Canadian Health Information Management Association (CHIMA)
- Canadian College of Health Information Management (CCHIM)
- Intermediate - Computer skills
- Organizational skills
- Basic - Analytical skills
- Interpersonal skills
- Communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Registration with Canadian Health Information Management Association (CHIMA)
- Certification with Canadian College of Health Information Management (CCHIM)
Nice To Haves
- Valid driver's license, where required
Responsibilities
- Retrieves, validates, analyses and presents health care data for the purposes of education, research, quality improvement, program planning and statistical reporting.
