About The Position

This is an in-office position with full-time and part-time opportunities available. An on-call rotation is required, occurring every third weekend. At Dove Healthcare, employees can expect a supportive work atmosphere, on-the-job training, consistent scheduling, and supervisors who support their team. The primary responsibilities involve entering physician orders, resident data, and employee information into the Electronic Health Record accurately and in a timely manner. This role also includes working with documentation sheets, maintaining system-generated records, lists, and reports for facility use, assisting with audits, and ensuring all records are maintained in accordance with state and federal regulations, while upholding the integrity, privacy, and confidentiality of all data.

Requirements

  • Completed coursework in anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
  • Experience with data entry
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding of basic HIPAA practices and the ability to maintain confidentiality of all medical records is necessary
  • Computer proficiency with the Electronic Health Record system and Microsoft Office products, as well as other office equipment
