As a member of the newly established Aggie Prevention & Well-Being Programs team, you'll develop innovative health education programs, inspire healthy choices, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of Aggies every day. The Health Education Specialist supports the mission of Aggie Prevention & Well-Being Programs by developing and delivering evidence-informed health promotion and prevention initiatives that empower students to make healthy decisions, build resilience, and thrive academically and personally. Reporting to the Director of Prevention & Well-Being Programs, the position leads educational programming focused on nutrition, healthy lifestyles, stress management, and general wellness while collaborating with the unit's interdisciplinary prevention team on initiatives addressing alcohol and other drug prevention, mental health promotion, hazing prevention, interpersonal violence prevention, healthy relationships, and student well-being. The position engages students through outreach, peer education, campus partnerships, and innovative health promotion strategies that foster a culture of wellness, safety, and personal responsibility.
