About The Position
Health Care Technician I’s (HCT I) support people with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) that may have complex behavioral challenges and/or medical conditions whose clinical treatment needs exceed the level of care available in the community. As a HCT you’ll have the opportunity to take people on outings to various places in the community, teach people recreational skills, and support people with completing Activities of Daily Living (ADL’s). ALL employees of Murdoch Center are designated as ESSENTIAL for adverse weather and emergency events.
Requirements
- High school or General Educational Development diploma; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to pass a physical requirements test.
- Must be in good standing with the North Carolina Health Care Personnel Registry.
