About The Position
The Black Mountain Neuro-Medical Treatment Center (BMNTC) is seeking a Health Care Technician II Lead for the 1st shift. This role involves providing leadership and direct patient care in a specialized healthcare setting for individuals with complex medical and neurological needs. The Health Care Technician II Lead will guide Health Care Technician staff during their shifts, support daily unit operations, ensure adherence to quality and safety standards, and act as a resource for team members. In addition to hands-on patient care, this position requires collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to foster a safe, therapeutic, and person-centered environment, all while supporting the facility's commitment to high-quality care.
Requirements
- High school or General Educational Development diploma and one year of related work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- As required, listing as a Nurse Aide I by the North Carolina Division of Health Service Regulation.
- As applicable, listing as a Nurse Aide II by the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
- As applicable, North Carolina Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification.

- Experience working directly with individuals with Dementia and/or Intellectual Development Disabilities, on-going healthcare needs and issues of aging, or other health related fields.

Benefits
- Sign-On Bonus of $2,500.00 may be offered to the successful applicant(s) of this posting, contingent on Budget Approval.
- Shift Premiums for 8-Hour Shifts: Day: 10% weekend shift premium, Evening: 20% shift premium plus an additional 10% weekend shift premium, Night: 20% shift premium plus an additional 10% weekend shift premium.
- Shift Premiums for 12-Hour Shifts: Day (7:00 am - 7:30 pm): 10% weekend shift premium, Evenings/ Night (7:00 pm - 7:30 am): 20% shift premium plus an additional 10% weekend shift premium.
