About The Position

JRI’s Developing Abilities program provides opportunities for people to live in homes and apartments in their communities and to grow through job training, supported employment and day habilitation services. We provide therapeutic and social supports to enrich the lives of people with disabilities. We are looking for a Health Care Supervisor to work in our Willow Tree Day Habilitation Programs in Natick!

Requirements

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing, psychology or related field.
• Must have a RN or LPN license.
• Two years' experience working with people with developmental disabilities (one additional year may be substituted for a bachelor's degree with approval from the Program Director).
• Must have one year of supervisory experience.
• Experience working with individuals who have developmental disabilities is required.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work efficiently and independently without direct supervision or colleagues present.
• Valid driver’s license, with the ability to transport individuals in agency vehicles as well as your own vehicle when needed.
• Background checks and driving record evaluations will be conducted.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all the health care services and treatments at the day habilitation program.
• Follow all procedures related to authorization, monitoring, physician's orders, observation, and documentation.
• Complete administrative tasks, perform direct nursing responsibilities, and train staff in key areas.
