About The Position

Spendid Farms is seeking a dedicated and passionate Health and Wellness Coach to join our team on a full-time basis in Oregon, Ohio, United States. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing wellness programmes designed to promote a healthy lifestyle, reduce health risks, and enhance the overall quality of life for our team members.

Requirements

  • Proven experience working as a Health Coach, Wellness Coordinator, or in a similar role.
  • A recognised certification in health or wellness coaching is essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
  • A strong understanding of behaviour change principles and coaching techniques.
  • Demonstrable ability to design and implement effective wellness programmes.
  • A compassionate, empathetic, and non-judgemental approach to coaching.
  • Proficient in using standard office software for communication and record-keeping.

Nice To Haves

  • A degree in nutrition, public health, kinesiology, or a related field is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct one-on-one coaching sessions with employees to help them set and achieve their health and wellness goals.
  • Develop and deliver engaging workshops and seminars on various topics, including nutrition, stress management, fitness, and mindfulness.
  • Create personalised wellness plans tailored to the unique needs and circumstances of individual employees.
  • Promote a company-wide culture of health and well-being through proactive communication and engagement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the Human Resources department to integrate wellness programmes into company policies and events.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of wellness initiatives, providing regular reports on participation and outcomes.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with the utmost professionalism.
  • Stay current with the latest industry trends and best practices in corporate wellness.
