The Health and Wellbeing Finance Senior Manager provides strategic leadership and oversight for all financial, budgetary, accounting, and business operations across the newly unified Health and Wellbeing unit, which includes both University Health Services and Campus Recreation. This position is responsible for managing two distinct and highly complex operational budgets while maintaining separate financial structures for each department. The role ensures sound fiscal stewardship, compliance with university, state, federal, and healthcare-related financial regulations, and the development of financial systems that support accurate reporting, long-range planning, and informed executive decision-making. Serving as the lead financial strategist for Health and Wellbeing, this position works closely with senior leadership to develop annual budgets, monitor revenue and expenditures, oversee revenue cycle operations, support medical billing and credentialing functions, and ensure sustainable financial operations across both auxiliary and clinical business models. This position supervises professional staff responsible for accounting, business operations, medical billing, credentialing, and financial systems management. Manages systems and procedures to protect departmental assets and requires practical knowledge in leading and managing the execution of processes, projects and tactics within one area.
