The Environmental Health and Safety Manager (HSM) supports the HSE Director at the corporate, program, and project level to ensure that company, Federal, State, and local policies and procedures are implemented and followed in regard to health, safety, and environment. The HSM is responsible for the development of project safety plans including project-specific Accident Prevention Plans, Health and Safety Plans, and general Activity/Job Hazards Analyses. The HSM is responsible for identifying and evaluating potential hazards and planning actions to mitigate the hazards to protect personnel, property, and the environment. The HSM will perform audits to determine the effectiveness of the safety program at the project level. Projects are typically for Federal clients including the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the U.S. Navy, and The U.S. Department of Energy.
