As a Summer 2027 Intern, you will have the opportunity to apply your academic knowledge in a professional business environment while gaining meaningful, hands-on experience within our Health & Safety team. Throughout the internship, you will work on real business initiatives, collaborate with team members and leaders, develop professional skills, and contribute to projects that support Cencora's purpose of creating healthier futures. Start Date: June 7, 2027 End Date: August 13, 2027 Location: Roanoke, TX or Sugar Land, TX or Whitestown, IN This internship is designed for students who are curious, motivated, and eager to learn while making a meaningful impact in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. We are looking for a dedicated Summer Health and Safety Intern to support our Corporate Health and Safety Manager in advancing key safety initiatives. This role will focus on a specific health and safety project while providing critical support to our distribution centers. The intern will gain hands-on experience in implementing safety practices, ensuring compliance, and promoting a culture of well-being across our operations. The intern will assist in project execution, including data collection, analysis, and reporting, while also collaborating with distribution centers to evaluate and enhance safety practices. Additional responsibilities may include participating in audits and inspections, developing training materials, and supporting initiatives that engage employees in proactive safety behaviors. This role is ideal for someone passionate about health and safety and eager to make a tangible difference.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited college or university.
Currently enrolled in a degree program related to Health and Safety Management, Industrial Safety or Occupational Health and Safety.
Rising sophomore, junior, or senior at the time of the internship preferred
Must not require sponsorship to work in the United States now or in the future.
Less than 2 years of experience in clinical operations support, healthcare administration, patient services, or a related field required.
