About The Position

Angel Care Home Companion Services is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Health Aide to join our caring team in Commack, NY. Requirements

Valid Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Aide (PCA) certification preferred
Prior experience in home care, elder care, or a related healthcare setting
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
Compassionate, patient, and respectful demeanor toward clients
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and assisting with mobility
Valid driver's license or reliable transportation in the Commack, NY area a plus

Responsibilities

Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, and dressing
Monitor and record client health status, vital signs, and changes in condition
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and their families
Assist with mobility, transfers, and light exercise as directed
Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment
Accompany clients to medical appointments and assist with medication reminders
