Requirements

• Proficiency in operating power and manual equipment, including power presses, arbor presses, milling machines, drilling machines, cut-off saws, routers, and hand tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, sketches, and special instructions.
• Experience working with ferrous and non-ferrous materials.
• Strong attention to detail to maintain high-quality standards.
• Ability to train and direct employees in proper manufacturing methods.
• Problem-solving skills to address setup and operational issues effectively.
• Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate equipment such as power presses, arbor presses, milling machines, drilling machines, cut-off saws, routers, and hand tools to perform operations including blanking, slotting, punching, piercing, and drilling.
• Maintain and adjust setups for changes in size and style, ensuring optimal equipment performance through regular lubrication and cleaning.
• Periodically check work to ensure a high level of quality.
• Provide enough material for header assembly.
• Open and store incoming shipments of extrusions and perform necessary handling requirements for the job.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Train assigned employees.
