About The Position

The Headache Program at the Endeavor Health Neurological Institute provides specialized care for chronic headache and migraine. The program combines Diamond Headache Clinic’s multidisciplinary expertise with the resources of a health system serving communities locally and beyond. This full-time role is based in Arlington Heights, Illinois, and includes inpatient and outpatient care. The physician will work in a high-volume specialized neurology clinic, treating patients with chronic migraine, tension-type headaches, medication overuse, and post-traumatic headaches. The role offers access to in-clinic procedures and opportunities for academic involvement and teaching, if desired. Compensation ranges from $219,700 to $390,700, based on years of experience.

Requirements

Fellowship in Headache Medicine and Facial Pain.
Board-certified or board-eligible by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology or in Anesthesia, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine.
Illinois medical license or pending licensure.
Illinois controlled substance license or pending licensure.

Responsibilities

Manage patients with chronic migraine, tension-type headaches, medication overuse, and post-traumatic headaches.
Collaborate with fellowship-trained headache specialists and neurology subspecialists.
Provide care in inpatient and outpatient settings.
Use in-clinic procedures such as Botox, nerve blocks, and infusion therapies.
Participate in academic activities and teaching, if desired.
