Head Women'S Soccer Coach, Part-Time Faculty
About The Position
Victor Valley Community College is recruiting for a Head Women's Soccer Coach to provide leadership, training, and guidance to student athletes. This is a part-time faculty pool for assignments made as needed; coaching duties are compensated separately through a flat-rate season stipend and are not subject to teaching-load or hourly requirements. The coaching stipend is $16,000. Part-time teaching assignments, if applicable, are hourly, may be up to 67%, and are paid according to education level under the Victor Valley Community College AFT Collective Bargaining Agreement. This is a continuous recruitment. Departments or divisions refer to applications in the pool when temporary assignments need to be filled. The posting gives differing pool-retention periods: at least 18 months in the initial description and 12 months in the application-procedures section.
Requirements
- Any bachelor's degree and two years of professional experience, or any associate degree and six years of professional experience, or the equivalent.
- Degrees must be from an accredited institution.
- Applicants must provide copies of transcripts showing college degrees and coursework. For non-U.S. transcripts, applicants are responsible for including a U.S. evaluation.
- All information qualifying an applicant for the position must be included in the Victor Valley College application.

- Organize and lead practices and games.
- Coordinate travel to and from games.
- Actively recruit student athletes within Victor Valley College and from the community.
- Coordinate team fundraising efforts.
