About The Position

The Head Women's Bowling Coach is responsible for the leadership, organization, and administration of all aspects of a Division I women’s bowling program. The head coach will lead a program that emphasizes competitive excellence, academic achievement, character development, and a commitment to community.

Requirements

  • Collegiate or elite-level coaching experience in bowling.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of NCAA Division I rules and regulations.
  • Minimum 2 years of coaching experience

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and conduct practices and competitions.
  • Develop and implement effective training plans and competitive strategies.
  • Provide technical instruction and skill development for student-athletes.
  • Establish a positive, competitive, and values-based team culture.
  • Identify, evaluate, and recruit prospective student-athletes in compliance with NCAA rules.
  • Build a sustainable recruiting pipeline at the regional, national, and international levels.
  • Coordinate official and unofficial visits and maintain communication with prospects and families.
  • Promote academic success and monitor academic progress in collaboration with academic support staff.
  • Support the holistic development and well-being of student-athletes.
  • Encourage leadership, sportsmanship, and community engagement.
  • Ensure full compliance with NCAA, conference, and institutional policies.
  • Manage the program's operating budget, travel, and scheduling.
