About The Position

Minnesota State Community and Technical College (M State) is seeking a passionate and talented Head Women's Basketball Coach to join its learning-centered community. This position is located on the Fergus Falls campus and is responsible for comprehensive community college teaching and learning activities related to the women's basketball program. M State is a regional student-focused institution with four campuses, offering a blend of big-college opportunities and a small-college feel, with a strong commitment to student success, integrity, inclusion, and innovation.

Requirements

Basketball coaching experience
Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Demonstrate the ability to recruit and coach
Ability and commitment to adhere to the policies and procedures of Minnesota State Community and Technical College, MCCC and NCAA Division III.
Must be able to accept work in the U.S. by the day employment begins.

Nice To Haves

Assistant or Head coaching (basketball) experience at the collegiate level.
Ability to work with a diverse population of students.

Responsibilities

Head coach duties, including recruiting, conducting practices and tryouts, organizing and scheduling road trips, tracking students’ athletic eligibility, and other related duties.
Monitor women’s basketball budget, fundraise as appropriate, and maintain spending practices in alignment with NJCAA rules.
