About The Position
Montrose Veterinary Centre is seeking an enthusiastic Head Veterinary Nurse to join their leadership team. This role involves leading and developing the nursing team, shaping nursing protocols, coordinating hospital and surgical cases, and driving staff training. The centre sees a diverse caseload with a focus on orthopaedics, surgery, hospitalisation, and rehabilitation. Requirements
- Experienced veterinary nurse ready for their next challenge
- Strong clinical skills and a passion for patient care
- Enjoys a busy, varied hospital environment
- Has an interest in surgery, orthopaedics and/or rehabilitation
- Loves mentoring and developing others
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Leads by example and isn’t afraid to challenge the status quo

Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor and develop our nursing team
- Support junior nurses and emerging leaders
