Requirements
- Valid New York State RN License
- Must have a minimum of two years in a managerial role
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
- Excellent assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
- Reliable transportation to travel to NYCBS locations for patient care needs
Nice To Haves
- Proficiency with an EMR (preferred)
- Knowledge of standard precautions and the ability to utilize appropriate PPE when administering cytotoxic agents and handling bloodborne pathogens and bodily fluids
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of nursing responsibilities during each shift.
- Assigning patient assignments.
- Medication orders.
- Training of new hires.
- Management of a safe environment for staff and patients alike with focus on providing efficient, timely and knowledgeable care while ensuring patient satisfaction in every interaction.
- Making sure those values are reflected in their staff at all times.
