Head Varsity Soccer Coach
About The Position
Marymount School is seeking an experienced, passionate, and student-centered Head Varsity Soccer Coach to lead its varsity girls soccer program during the Fall 2026 season. This is an exciting opportunity for a coach who is committed to developing student-athletes both on and off the field while fostering a positive, competitive, and inclusive team culture. The ideal candidate has previous coaching and/or high-level playing experience, excellent leadership and communication skills, and a passion for mentoring high school athletes. The Head Coach will oversee all aspects of the varsity program, including practice planning, game strategy, player development, and collaboration with the athletic department.
Requirements
- Previous soccer coaching and/or competitive playing experience
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Passion for developing young athletes and building a successful program
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with high school-aged athletes preferred
Responsibilities
- Plan and lead engaging, organized practices
- Coach all varsity games and competitions
- Develop players' technical, tactical, and leadership abilities
- Foster a positive, inclusive team culture
- Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and the athletic department
- Serve as a positive role model and mentor for student-athletes
