Responsibilities

  • Supervises the daily operational activities of the branch teller staff and is responsible for ensuring accuracy and high levels of member satisfaction.
  • Prepares, coordinates, and monitors various needs within the branch, including record reconciliation, reports, teller work schedules, and branch cash needs.
  • Develops, motivates, and retains qualified staff.
  • Ensures adherence to compliance, policy, and procedure.
  • Participates in opening and closing branch procedures.
  • Selects qualified candidates.
  • Coaches and reviews teller work to foster a team environment.
  • Trains other staff on general job duties and sales techniques.
  • Contributes to sales goal attainment for department and organization goals by identifying and educating members on product and service needs through meaningful conversations.
  • Fills the Teller role when needed.
  • Provides coverage for other departments and/or functions as needed.
