About The Position
The Manchester Family YMCA is seeking a part-time, experienced swim team coach to serve as Head Coach for their swim team. The Head Coach will work closely with the Aquatics Director to oversee the operations of the swim team program, including scheduling, training, supervising, and evaluating swim practices and assistant coaches. Applicants must have some open availability during the week and weekends for swim meets, coaches meetings, and dive clinic practices.
Requirements
- At least 3 or more years of coaching experience and/or proven track record in managing a large swim team program
- Current professional CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications
- Open availability during the week and weekends for swim meets, coaches meetings, and dive clinic practices
Nice To Haves
- Current YMCA or American Red Cross Lifeguard or Ellis certification
- YMCA Swim Instructor or WSI certifications
