About The Position
Help create an amazing learning environment for young children! As a Head Start Classroom Support, you’ll work side by side with our Head Start Teacher to spark curiosity, build independence, and inspire little learners—all while supporting parents to become their child’s greatest advocate.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- High school diploma/GED and/or relevant experience.
- CPR and First Aid Certified - or ready to get certified.
- Food Safety Certification - or the willingness to get certified within 3 months.
Nice To Haves
- You know your way around a computer.
- You’re a team player and can handle tasks on your own like a pro.

- You’re up to speed on child development - or eager to learn.
- Problem-solving and keeping the peace? Piece of cake!
Responsibilities
- Help with food prep and cleanup - keeping things organized and tidy.
- Keep everything running smoothly with accurate and up-to-date recordkeeping.
- Bring energy and creativity to health and nutrition activities that inspire kids to make healthier choices.
- Help out with light janitorial duties when necessary.
- Support recruitment and enrollment efforts to spread the word about Head Start.
