About The Position
Owensboro Catholic High School is seeking applicants for the Head Softball Coach position for the 2026-2027 school year. The school is looking for an experienced and knowledgeable coach to run all team activities. This role will focus on developing the program by working closely with students on skill development, teamwork, and leadership.
Requirements
- Must meet qualifications to be a KHSAA coach
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must pass criminal background check
- Must complete safe environment training for the Diocese of Owensboro before employment can be granted
Nice To Haves
- Some experience as a competitive softball coach at the high school or college level
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to work cooperatively with students, staff, administration, and parents
- Preferred practicing Catholic
- Preferably 64 college hours
