About The Position
Canby High School is hiring a Head Softball Coach to begin March 1, 2027. This is an extra duty position. The coach will be responsible for performing extra duty responsibilities in accordance with school and district procedures and policies. The Canby School District is an equal opportunity employer and educator.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of emergency first aid procedures — current First Aid/CPR card required.
- Ability to work successfully with high school students, families, school staff, and the public.
- Ability to meet criminal records requirements of the state of Oregon.
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position.
- Applicant agrees to assume cost and arrange for fingerprint-based criminal records check upon offer of employment ($10-$20 at printing; $66 payroll deduction).
Nice To Haves
- Experience/knowledge of the sport of interscholastic softball, coaching techniques, and student supervision.
