About The Position

Decagon is seeking a Head of Workplace to lead its global workplace strategy and operations, ensuring physical environments scale with company growth. This role involves overseeing real estate and expansion projects, managing a team of office leaders, and building systems for seamless office operations. The position requires a blend of strategic planning and hands-on execution, shaping the long-term workplace vision from design and opening of new offices to evolving day-to-day operations. The Head of Workplace will partner with People, Finance, IT, and the executive team to create world-class spaces that foster collaboration, drive productivity, and embody Decagon's culture of excellence. The company emphasizes an in-office culture, with offices serving as central hubs for building, collaboration, and rapid progress.

Requirements

6–8+ years of experience in workplace, real estate, or operations, ideally in high-growth startups or tech.
Proven track record leading multi-site expansions and office build-outs.
Skilled in vendor management, project execution, and global workplace operations.
Strong people leadership, with the ability to build, inspire and scale a team.
Comfortable moving fluidly between strategic planning and tactical hands-on execution.
Experience working across geographies in the US and Europe.

Responsibilities

Lead and grow the Workplace team, setting vision and scalable processes for global office operations.
Drive Decagon’s real estate strategy by negotiating leases, managing brokers/vendors, and overseeing build-outs and office openings across San Francisco, New York and Europe.
Manage workplace budgets and optimize spend across real estate, operations and vendors to ensure efficiency at scale.
Ensure operational excellence in offices, maintaining high standards for safety, compliance, and employee experience.
Partner with People, Finance, IT, and Leadership to plan for growth and deliver spaces that enable collaboration and high performance.
Build programs and policies that create a consistent, high-quality workplace experience across all locations.
