About The Position

We’re representing an early-stage cybersecurity company building an autonomous security team for the enterprise. The company is developing a new approach to enterprise security using AI and autonomous systems. Backed by 8VC and prominent technology executives and founders, the company is now building out its U.S. presence and go-to-market organization. This is a foundational role for someone who wants broad ownership across customers, technical deployments, partnerships, recruiting, and commercial strategy. Rather than inheriting an established GTM playbook, this person will work directly with the founders to help create one.

Requirements

• Experience as a Palantir-style Forward Deployed Engineer, technical founder, founding GTM hire, or similarly hands-on technical operator.
• Strong technical judgment and the ability to establish credibility with engineering and security teams.
• Demonstrated ability to take an ambiguous objective and independently drive it from idea through execution.
• Comfortable working directly with enterprise customers on technical deployments.
• Able to move between technical conversations and executive-level commercial discussions.
• Comfortable owning work well outside a traditional job description when necessary to achieve an outcome.
• Strong commercial instincts without needing to operate as a conventional quota-driven sales leader.
• Able to build trust with both deeply technical users and senior enterprise decision-makers.
• Experience working closely with founders or within an early-stage environment.
• Strong relationship-building skills across customers, partners, candidates, and industry communities.
• Highly resourceful and comfortable creating processes where none currently exist.
• Willing and able to travel regularly throughout the United States.
• U.S.-based, ideally in New York or San Francisco.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in cybersecurity.
• Experience deploying complex technical products into enterprise environments.
• Background in AI, developer infrastructure, security, or similarly technical enterprise software.
• Experience helping establish a new geography, market, or GTM organization.
• Previous responsibility spanning multiple functions rather than operating exclusively within Sales, Engineering, or Customer Success.
• Experience recruiting and building early GTM or technical teams.
• Existing relationships within cybersecurity, AI, or enterprise technology.
• Experience turning early customer deployments into larger, repeatable commercial relationships.
• Founder or early startup experience with significant individual ownership.

Responsibilities

• Establish and build the company’s U.S. presence and go-to-market motion from zero.
• Work directly with enterprise customers to identify, design, and launch agentic security programs.
• Lead early customer deployments from initial conversations through successful implementation.
• Turn successful technical deployments and use cases into broader commercial relationships.
• Move fluidly between technical implementation, customer strategy, sales, partnerships, and company building.
• Develop relationships throughout the cybersecurity, AI, enterprise, and startup ecosystems.
• Represent the company in executive customer meetings, industry events, dinners, and smaller community gatherings.
• Help recruit and onboard Account Executives, technical GTM talent, and other early U.S. team members.
• Work alongside the founders and sales leadership to develop and refine the enterprise GTM playbook.
• Identify and remove obstacles across early customer engagements, including troubleshooting deployments when necessary.
• Open doors and create new customer and partnership opportunities.
• Build repeatable processes from what initially may be highly hands-on and customized customer engagements.
• Travel regularly throughout the United States to meet customers and establish the company within the market.
