About The Position

Lead the North America Food Safety & Quality transformation agenda by developing quality system strategies, performance measures, governance, and sustainable interventions across the FSQ NA three-year transformation plan. The role strengthens manufacturing quality processes, aligns global and regional priorities, and ensures transparent execution across all business units.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or a related science or technology field.
  • Demonstrated understanding of food manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with applicable regulatory requirements, including USDA, FDA, or CFIA, as relevant.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving capability and experience using quality and continuous improvement tools such as Six Sigma, Lean, and root cause analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional groups.
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit, manage, develop, and retain talent.
  • Understanding of procurement processes.

Nice To Haves

  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in a food-related or scientific field is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality system strategies and KPIs to strengthen manufacturing quality processes, including capital plans, facility improvements, and product protection device recommendations.
  • Design and launch targeted quality assurance programs to address specific issues across Quality, Laboratories, and Sanitation.
  • Partner with Global Quality Council members and committees to support global policy review, quality systems review, decision-making, and development.
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of the FSQ NA three-year transformation plan across all six pillars and two enablers, ensuring appropriate sequencing, dependency management, and transparent progress reporting to FSQ leadership and the executive sponsor.
  • Set the quality transformation agenda, define operating mechanisms, and approve interventions that establish risk-based and sustainable expectations for compliance and quality performance.
