About The Position

ProEdge Dental Water Labs is seeking a Head of Technology to lead the integration of AI and smart technology into their rapidly growing business. The role involves developing the technology strategy from the ground up, working closely with senior leadership to identify and implement AI, automation, and data-driven solutions that reduce costs, improve decision-making, and enhance customer value. The company has a stable IT foundation and is looking for a leader who can drive significant technological impact. The ideal candidate will be a humble, transparent, relational, discerning, and smart problem-solver who believes in empowering people with technology.

Responsibilities

  • Develop the technology strategy from the ground up, in collaboration with senior leadership.
  • Identify opportunities where AI, automation, and data can drive business outcomes (e.g., lower costs, faster decisions, reduced administrative drag, increased customer value).
  • Execute on technology initiatives, including AI and automation projects.
  • Map the landscape of systems, data, and integrations to identify areas of friction and prioritize technology investments.
  • Implement AI tools across the organization to change how team members work.
  • Lead at least two meaningful automation or AI initiatives that measurably reduce cost, time, or manual effort.
  • Improve business intelligence tools to enable faster and more confident decision-making by leaders.
  • Own the security posture and ensure the organization understands technology and data risk.
