About The Position

Lead Thermo Fisher Scientific’s supply chain operations and oversee end-to-end supply chain activities to support efficient, cost-effective product delivery while maintaining high quality standards. Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives, partner with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement, and cultivate operational excellence and customer focus. The position is onsite in Florence, South Carolina, follows a standard Monday–Friday schedule, and may require travel of up to 20% as needed.

Requirements

• Advanced degree plus 6 years of experience, or a bachelor's degree plus 8 years of experience in supply chain management.
• At least 5 years of experience in leadership roles.
• Experience leading Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) processes.
• Expertise in ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle and supply chain planning tools.
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making capabilities.
• Experience developing and leading effective teams.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies and process optimization.
• Strong financial acumen and budget management skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, matrix organization.
• Demonstrated success implementing supply chain initiatives.
• Experience with inventory optimization and demand planning.
• Proficiency in data analytics and reporting tools.
• Strong project management capabilities.
• Ability to travel up to 20% as needed.

Nice To Haves

• A degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• APICS certification (CPIM or CSCP) or equivalent.
• Lean Six Sigma certification.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the life sciences or pharmaceutical industry.
