About The Position

LiteLLM is seeking a Head of Strategy and Operations to help define and accelerate the company internally. This role sits at the intersection of engineering, operations, and go-to-market. The ideal candidate is a high-judgment, hands-on operator comfortable with both high-level strategy and execution. LiteLLM has proven product-market fit, grown beyond $10M ARR, and is profitable. This role will build, implement, and enforce processes to scale an AI startup, with immediate and direct impact. The company is looking for an experienced, data-driven, and process-driven individual to establish operational rigor and culture from the ground up.

Requirements

  • Prior Leadership Experience in Operations or GTM, specifically scaling a tech company from ~20 to 100+ employees.
  • Experience building a company’s sales and customer success processes and playbook from scratch or very early stages.
  • Managed and excelled in recruiting, sales, and success functions, with an emphasis on metrics-based leadership and improvements.
  • Experience developing processes for budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis; experience implementing a financial foundation and process.
  • Strong experience working for an AI startup company, understanding GTM strategy, product launch processes, and timelines.
  • Experience managing an enterprise SaaS business selling to Fortune 500 customers.
  • Must be San Francisco based.
  • Strong background in data modeling, finance, and analytics.
  • Ability to evaluate team load and output with metrics to determine team needs.
  • Respect for the product vision of founders, combined with an operational vision for building the company and a successful track record.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and enforce process adherence.
  • Strong communicator and mediator, able to handle multiple personalities and work styles.
  • World-class oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong project management and delegation skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Build sales and customer success playbook and systems from the ground up and create a company culture around it.
  • Focus on sales efficiency, pipeline health, pricing, and revenue forecasting.
  • Define and enforce external SLAs across every channel (Slack Connect, email, Zendesk), ensuring every customer thread has an owner, ETA, and clear next step.
  • Set up strategic KPIs and performance tracking for every department to provide data-driven insights on resourcing, workload, and performance.
  • Continually iterate on operational metrics and plans, owning challenges and seeking improvements.
  • Bridge the gap between high-level product roadmaps, engineering, and GTM execution.
  • Recruit, mentor, and manage employees to ensure long-term growth and success.
  • Act as a listening ear for the team and customers, taking action to ensure internal team happiness and professional growth, and external customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee the financial foundation and process from the ground up as the company scales.
