Anthropic is seeking a culturally attuned Head of Social Communications with impeccable judgment and genuine range. This role will drive proactive and reactive social communications strategies for both Anthropic and Claude, expressing and balancing each distinctive brand with technical credibility, audience empathy, and candor about both the promise and risks of AI. The position sits within the Communications team but operates at the seam between Communications and Marketing, ensuring organic social communications, campaigns, and incident response work in concert with editorial, earned media, brand campaigns, and product marketing. The Head of Social Communications will facilitate thoughtful, high-substance social conversation around new models, products, and major company announcements, partnering closely with marketing, editorial, and creative teams. They will also lead social response for breaking news cycles and manage issues and incidents related to AI conversations.
