About The Position

The Head of Service Sales is responsible to develop and execute the sales strategies that drive revenue and maximize growth for Syntegon. This position leads a Sales Team and Modernization Team across the Americas. This position has a key responsibility in managing relationships with our customers as well as the senior leadership team to ensure the Sales and Modernizations Department goals are aligned with Syntegon business objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sales or other relevant degree or substitute for equivalent work experience.
  • 10+ years experience leading a team
  • 10+ years experience working with capital equipment
  • 5+ years experience in sales
  • Domestic and International Travel required at least 30% of the time

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor and motivate the sales and modernizations team to meet and exceed company objectives
  • Identify and analyze market trends within the packaging industry to remain competitive in the industry.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve targets.
  • Collaborate with the team to establish annual performance targets for the department.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure alignment with sales efforts.
  • Monitor and analyze data to identify areas for adjustment or improvement.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports and information to the leadership team.
  • Evaluate the team on an on going basis and recommend tools or training that will increase productivity of the team.
