About The Position

The Head of SAP Practice will lead the North American SAP consulting business, aligning with global strategy and driving growth, delivery excellence, and customer satisfaction. This role is responsible for business growth, offering development, delivery excellence, margin management, team leadership, and strategic customer engagement, while managing a high-performing team of SAP-specialized sales and practice managers.

Requirements

  • 15+ years in SAP consulting, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record managing P&L and large cross-functional teams.
  • Executive presence with experience engaging CxO-level clients
  • Deep knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, RISE with SAP, and cloud migration.
  • Familiarity with SAP BTP, analytics, and industry-specific solutions.
  • Understanding of SAP sales, licensing, and ecosystem partnerships
  • Strong ability to lead sales pursuits and develop strategic proposals.
  • Experience working with business development and marketing to generate pipeline.
  • Solid background in SAP program management and delivery governance.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and de-risk complex project scenarios.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias for execution.
  • Collaborative leadership style fostering cross-functional alignment

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the North American SAP strategy in alignment with the global SAP practice and broader business priorities.
  • Own the SAP practice P&L, including revenue growth, profitability, investment priorities and financial discipline.
  • Assess the current practice, establish a scalable operating model and build the leadership structure required for growth.
  • Develop a balanced onshore and offshore organization across solutioning, delivery and specialized SAP capabilities.
  • Operate as an entrepreneurial practice leader who is willing to wear multiple hats while the organization scales.
  • Partner closely with sales and account leaders to expand SAP services across the existing customer base and develop new client opportunities.
  • Build and commercialize differentiated SAP offerings that address relevant and growing market needs.
  • Lead strategic pursuits, strengthen bid competitiveness and improve conversion of the existing SAP pipeline.
  • Guide proposals, statements of work and executive presentations, serving as the senior SAP point person during critical client engagements.
  • Develop a repeatable track record of winning, beginning with executable SAP transformation and managed services opportunities and expanding into larger programs.
  • Strengthen relationships across SAP and the broader partner ecosystem to support joint go-to-market activity and business growth.
  • Lead SAP solution architects and work with solution directors and bid managers on SAP and multi-practice pursuits.
  • Ensure SAP solutions are differentiated, commercially competitive, deliverable and aligned with client transformation objectives.
  • Provide leadership across greenfield and brownfield SAP transformations, including modernization of legacy and on-premises environments.
  • Advance full-stack SAP capabilities spanning infrastructure, cloud, transformation, managed services and end-to-end program delivery.
  • Connect SAP capabilities with adjacent services such as cloud, Azure, applications, Salesforce and ServiceNow when relevant to client needs.
  • Oversee the regional SAP delivery organization and maintain accountability for delivery quality, client confidence and successful execution.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders and provide executive sponsorship for strategic SAP programs.
  • Build confidence in the company’s SAP capabilities by translating global experience, talent and proof points into compelling North American client value.
  • Balance growth objectives with delivery readiness, risk management and responsible investment.
  • Lead and scale a distributed SAP organization that currently includes approximately 60 to 100 onshore and offshore professionals.
  • Develop solution architecture, delivery and specialized services capabilities as the portfolio grows.
  • Create a high-accountability culture centered on collaboration, client outcomes, commercial ownership and execution.
  • Influence effectively across sales, delivery, global practice leadership, business lines and shared functions in a highly matrixed organization.
