About The Position

TeraWulf is seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Procurement to lead the Company's procurement, sourcing, purchasing, contract administration, and supply chain activities across its growing portfolio of data center development and operations projects. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, the Head of Procurement will be responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies that support large-scale capital projects, mission-critical infrastructure deployments, and ongoing operational requirements while ensuring cost competitiveness, supplier performance, contractual compliance, and schedule certainty. This leader will build and scale the procurement function to support TeraWulf's next phase of growth, establishing the processes, governance, supplier relationships, and organizational capabilities necessary to support a rapidly expanding business. The Head of Procurement will serve as the Company's senior procurement leader, partnering closely with executive leadership, development, engineering, construction, operations, finance, and legal teams to drive procurement excellence, mitigate supply chain risk, and support the successful delivery of TeraWulf's infrastructure growth objectives. The ideal candidate will possess significant experience leading procurement organizations within the data center, mission-critical infrastructure, energy, telecommunications, or similarly capital-intensive industries. Direct experience supporting data center development, construction, and long-lead equipment procurement is strongly preferred.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain, commercial management, or related disciplines.
  • 7+ years of leadership experience managing procurement teams and functions.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting large-scale capital projects and infrastructure development programs.
  • Proven success negotiating complex supplier agreements and managing strategic vendor relationships.
  • Strong understanding of procurement strategy, sourcing, supplier management, contract administration, and supply chain operations.
  • Experience building procurement processes, governance structures, and high-performing teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience within data centers, digital infrastructure, mission-critical facilities, power generation, energy infrastructure, or telecommunications industries.
  • Experience supporting hyperscale, colocation, AI/HPC, or large-scale data center development projects.
  • Experience procuring critical electrical and mechanical infrastructure.
  • Experience managing OFCI procurement programs and long-lead equipment strategies.
  • Familiarity with EPC/EPCM project environments.
  • Professional certifications such as CPSM, CPM, PMP, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute enterprise-wide procurement strategies aligned with TeraWulf's growth objectives and capital deployment plans.
  • Establish procurement policies, governance standards, approval frameworks, and best practices across the organization.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing procurement organization capable of supporting multiple concurrent projects and operational sites.
  • Provide strategic guidance to executive leadership regarding procurement opportunities, commercial considerations, and supply chain risks.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, scalability, cost optimization, and supplier performance.
  • Lead sourcing and supplier selection activities across all major spend categories.
  • Establish and manage strategic relationships with key suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, contractors, and service providers.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements, master service agreements, equipment supply contracts, and strategic partnerships.
  • Develop category management strategies and supplier performance programs to support long-term business objectives.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage enterprise purchasing power and standardize equipment and supplier relationships.
  • Lead procurement activities supporting the development and construction of mission-critical data center infrastructure.
  • Support sourcing and acquisition of critical electrical, mechanical, networking, and technology infrastructure, including: Switchgear, Transformers, Substations, UPS systems, Generators, Busway, Chillers and cooling systems, Liquid cooling infrastructure, Networking and telecommunications equipment.
  • Partner closely with Development, Engineering, Construction, and Operations teams to align procurement activities with project schedules and commissioning milestones.
  • Provide executive oversight of all Owner Furnished Contractor Installed (OFCI) procurement activities.
  • Ensure effective management of long-lead equipment planning, supplier coordination, logistics, delivery schedules, and inventory controls.
  • Develop risk mitigation strategies for critical-path equipment and supply chain disruptions.
  • Monitor manufacturing progress and supplier performance to support timely project execution.
  • Oversee procurement-related logistics, warehousing, delivery coordination, and equipment readiness efforts.
  • Oversee the contract administration function and ensure consistent procurement-related commercial practices across the organization.
  • Partner with Legal and Finance to manage commercial risk associated with supplier and contractor agreements.
  • Ensure proper administration of equipment supply agreements, construction contracts, service agreements, and strategic vendor contracts.
  • Establish contract management standards, supplier compliance processes, and procurement documentation controls.
  • Support resolution of commercial disputes, change orders, claims, and supplier-related issues.
  • Oversee day-to-day purchasing operations and procurement workflows.
  • Drive procurement process efficiency while maintaining appropriate controls and accountability.
  • Implement procurement reporting, analytics, and performance metrics.
  • Monitor procurement expenditures, vendor performance, savings initiatives, and budget compliance.
  • Ensure procurement activities are conducted in accordance with company policies and internal controls.
  • Monitor market conditions, supplier stability, and global supply chain developments impacting Company operations and capital projects.
  • Develop contingency sourcing strategies for critical materials and equipment.
  • Implement supplier risk management and business continuity planning initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve resilience, predictability, and supply assurance across key categories.
