About The Position

Viridian Staffing’s Client is looking for a Head of Sales in the Chicago, Illinois, area to lead their sales efforts and drive growth within the state. This role will require a strong combination of sales strategy, market analysis, and team leadership. In this position, you will collaborate with leadership to establish sales goals and implement sales plans designed to drive company growth. You will be responsible for successfully developing/seeing through sales and marketing strategies; leading, training, and supporting sales reps, developing long-term customer relationships, and ensuring exceptional communication and account management. You are comfortable with assigning responsibilities, empowering and giving sales reps the tools necessary to work independently, managing performance, and ensuring the team works together to achieve goals. You are also known for being data driven and are able to convert insights into meaningful reports for leadership.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of proven B2B sales experience.
  • Previous sales leadership experience.
  • Ability to work for a licensed cannabis operation in the State of Illinois.
  • Must be driven, customer-obsessed, professional, and able to maintain exceptional standards while managing multiple priorities.

  • Experience in the cannabis industry is preferred.
