About The Position

Due to the continued growth of our business, Lobo Logistics (“Lobo” or the “Company”) is expanding its team and seeking a Head of Quality, Safety & Health to lead and strengthen our company-wide approach to quality, safety, and health. This individual will serve as a strategic partner to leadership and Operations, developing and implementing programs that protect our people, strengthen operational performance, ensure regulatory compliance, and continuously improve the quality of our services. The Head of Quality, Safety & Health will have broad ownership of the Company's QSH strategy, systems, processes, and performance. This role will work closely with management and employees across the organization to establish clear expectations, identify and mitigate risk, analyze trends, drive accountability, and build a culture where safety and quality are embedded in how we operate—not simply treated as compliance requirements.

Bachelor's degree in Safety, Occupational Health, Environmental Science, Quality, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
5+ years of progressive experience in HSE, quality, or a related operational discipline.
Experience developing and implementing safety, quality, and compliance programs across multiple locations or field operations.
Experience working in the oil & gas, energy, logistics, transportation, or other safety-sensitive industry preferred.
Strong knowledge of applicable OSHA, DOT, and other relevant federal and state safety and regulatory requirements.
Experience conducting incident investigations, root-cause analysis, audits, inspections, and corrective action programs.
Experience administering an EHS/HSE management software system.
Demonstrated ability to analyze safety and operational data and translate findings into actionable improvements.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently with a high degree of accountability and sound judgment.
Ability to travel up to 25%.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with multiple competing priorities.

Responsibilities

Lead the Company's Quality, Safety & Health strategy, establishing programs, processes, and standards that support safe, compliant, and high-quality operations.
Partner with executive leadership and Operations Management to identify operational risks, establish priorities, and develop practical solutions that improve safety, quality, and overall business performance.
Develop, implement, and continuously improve company-wide QSH policies, procedures, training, and programs.
Maintain oversight of regulatory and contractual compliance, including applicable federal, state, client, and industry requirements.
Establish and monitor key QSH performance indicators, identify trends, and provide regular reporting and recommendations to leadership.
Conduct and oversee safety and quality audits, inspections, and assessments across Company locations and field operations.
Lead investigations of safety incidents, accidents, near misses, quality issues, and other operational events; identify root causes and ensure appropriate corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
Develop systems of accountability that ensure corrective actions are completed, documented, and sustained.
Partner with Operations to proactively identify hazards, operational vulnerabilities, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
Establish and maintain processes for employee compliance, certifications, training, and required documentation through the Company's HSE software and other systems.
Oversee new-hire orientation, mentoring programs, and ongoing safety training.
Establish and maintain standards for wellsite equipment, PPE, and other safety-related resources, including inventory and compliance.
Oversee required safety inspections and recurring compliance programs, including fire extinguisher inspections and other applicable requirements.
Develop and maintain appropriate QSH documentation, records, and reporting systems.
Serve as a subject-matter resource to managers and employees on safety, health, quality, and compliance matters.
Travel to Company locations, as necessary, to evaluate operations, conduct audits and inspections, support incident investigations, and strengthen field relationships.
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand expectations and ensure Lobo consistently delivers against its quality and safety commitments.
Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and improve QSH processes as the Company continues to scale.
Promote a culture of ownership, accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence throughout the organization.
