About The Position

WTW’s Global Insurance Consulting and Technology (ICT) business helps insurers and reinsurers strengthen their competitive position, accelerate innovation, and deliver sustainable growth. It combines actuarial expertise with insurance technology, analytics, and AI to address complex risk and capital challenges. More than 1,000 insurers worldwide rely on its services and solutions. The Head of Risk and Capital for North America owns the strategy, growth, and performance of the business. The role mobilizes ICT’s actuarial consulting resources and its Igloo capital-modeling software to build and expand relationships with property and casualty insurers and reinsurers, ILS funds, and insurtech companies. Working with client executive leaders, the role turns clients’ priorities into high-value engagements involving portfolio mix and growth, risk and capital efficiency, reinsurance, income volatility, cost efficiency, and capital deployment for M&A. The position sets the market agenda, drives execution, and strengthens ICT’s position across North America, covering the United States, Canada, and Bermuda and coordinating with other regions as appropriate. The role leads market development, client development and sales, client delivery and retention, people and team development, and the practice’s financial performance. It defines market strategy, develops and closes consulting and technology engagements, ensures delivery meets client expectations, builds team capabilities, and owns growth, revenue forecasting, and profitability for the North American Risk and Capital practice. The position can be based in a major U.S. market and is open to remote/virtual work. Travel is required as needed. Employment-based non-immigrant visa sponsorship or assistance is not offered for this opportunity.
