Head of Public Relations for exciting Blockchain Project
About The Position
This role is for a part-time Equity Cofounder, Head of PR, for the Autheo project, which is building a groundbreaking Layer-0 Operating System with an integrated Layer-1 blockchain. The goal is to solve interoperability, data ownership, and enterprise adoption challenges by bridging Web2 reliability with Web3 sovereignty. The Head of PR will be responsible for developing and executing the public relations strategy to generate high-impact PR announcements, features, and coverage in major crypto, blockchain, and tech media, driving attention, credibility, and momentum to the project.
Requirements
- Minimum of three years of proven experience in Public Relations specifically within the crypto/blockchain/Web3 industry, with a demonstrated track record of securing major media placements and driving industry buzz.
- Established network of contacts across crypto media, analysts, and key industry players.
- Exceptional writing, storytelling, and communication skills—able to simplify highly technical concepts for broad audiences.
- Deep, current knowledge of the blockchain ecosystem, trends, and media landscape.
- Proactive, creative, and results-driven mindset with experience running high-volume PR programs in fast-moving startup environments.
- Strong passion for decentralized technology and a genuine desire to help bring business on-chain.
Responsibilities
- Developing and executing a proactive PR strategy that delivers consistent, high-visibility announcements and thought-leadership placement.
- Building and nurturing deep relationships with journalists, editors, influencers, and key media outlets in the Web3 space.
- Crafting compelling press releases, media kits, op-eds, bylines, and storytelling assets that translate complex Layer-0 technology into clear, exciting narratives.
- Coordinating tightly with product, partnerships, and marketing teams to maximize coverage around testnet launches, token events, enterprise integrations, and major milestones.
- Managing both proactive outreach campaigns and reactive media opportunities while positioning Autheo as the leading sovereign infrastructure solution.
- Tracking PR performance, media sentiment, and coverage metrics to continuously refine and amplify results.
