Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Product Management, Business Operations, or in a Chief of Staff (or similar) role in a global, tech-forward organization.
  • Comfortable working with global teams across time zones.
  • Willing to travel regularly (1x/quarter) to meet with them.
  • An out-of-the-box thinker: Loves solving complex problems.
  • Excellent at drawing clarifying insights and identifying areas of improvement.
  • Proactive, and moves quickly to deliver long-term solutions.
  • An Org-first team player who optimizes for the needs of the organization (over your own).
  • Collaborates well with everyone, ensuring win-win outcomes.
  • A clear communicator: Succinct in communications, “cutting to the chase” to deliver key messages with clarity, while ensuring they resonate with the audience.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and synthesize complex market trends and merchant feedback into actionable strategic shifts, ensuring the product roadmap remains bold yet achievable.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of talent programs (e.g., promotions, training, talent planning), of leadership alignment (e.g., leadership offsites and meetings), of cross-functional product reviews (e.g., strategy and launch reviews). Work with product leaders to ensure consistency in operating cadence across their organizations.
  • Act as a proxy for the leader in meetings and with stakeholders across engineering, commercial, operations and functional teams, and with customers to ensure alignment on product launches and commercial goals.
  • Help the leader with internal and external communications, ensuring a consistent and authoritative voice on product strategy, priorities, product discipline and culture.
  • Lead high-impact, often ambiguous projects that don't yet have a natural home—ranging from internal restructuring to evaluating new markets.
  • As a key leader in the Chicago tech hub, build out a strong customer-centric and tech culture for Adyen in the US, identifying opportunities for teams to collaborate together as well as drive visibility and interaction externally with the Chicago tech community.

Benefits

  • The annual base salary range for this role is $210,000- $287,000
